Prohibition Era - 15mm Project - (VII) - Civilians - The Gents and a few Cars

Following on from last time, here are the men from Blue Moons civilian pack and some extra cars I picked up from E-bay (for about £5) which match perfectly with my existing cars and the minis. The cars are from Kinder Eggs and are metal and plastic they came in a garish red and bronze colour scheme so I've done a quick repaint:

and the Cars:

That's the end of this project for now until I finally get some additional buildings and more importantly more enter-able buildings!

Not sure whats next, I still have a load of minis I got at Xmas to make a start on mainly Blood Bowl and 15mm Fantasy or I might be tempted by my Epic Bad Moons I'll see what takes my fancy!

Prohibition Era - 15mm Project - (VI) - Civilians - The Ladies

I needed a few civilians for my Prohibition era games as they are an important part of the game play, but Blue Moon only sell the one pack with far more (25) than I needed, however the lack of other options meant I had little choice.

I'm not really complaining though, as despite having far more than I'll ever need; as per the rest of the range they are lovely minis and good fun to paint plus easy and non-uniform which is always welcome especially when I'm only slowing getting back into painting. Another plus is it does give me an excuse to pick up some WW2 Home Guard types and maybe have a "what if" invasion game.

First up is the nice selection of female minis which are a nice change to the predominately male figures most of us gamer's paint, it also gives me a chance to use some of brighter less used paints in my collection:

The Gents are next, along with the repaints of the Kinder Egg cars I found on E-bay.
