Modern Warfare (2) - Special Forces

Just a brief post this time, and the opponents to the last post. I didn't want to do what I usually do and buy far too many minis at once, so I stuck to a 12 man SEAL team which I will use as generic Spec Ops troops:

And that's it for now, a few helicopters and other vehicles to do, along with the last of the insurgents and a few specific desert type buildings and I'm calling this mini project done.

Modern Warfare (1) - The Insurgents

 My son has recently had a thing for Call of Duty - Modern warfare, so with that in mind we ordered a few miniatures so we could recreate our console battles on the tabletop. This isn't going to be a big project although we do want some helicopters and a few vehicles to add to our infantry, and now we've seen them we plan on adding a few zombies too, and being 20mm they will work with my Gaslands stuff should I ever want to do a more infantry based game. 

First up are the insurgent mainly because I enjoy doing civilians more than regular troops due to the variety of colours you can use, although in this case I kept a fairly limited palette:

I have a few more insurgent left to do mainly leaders and to Technicals, bit on to some opponents next.

Gaslands (9) Pedestrians and the final vehicles

This is probably the last Gaslands stuff I'll be doing(well at least until I find both an Ambulance and a more suitable Helicopter)

First up is this final car, not that I need anymore, but my 9 year old son built it and he couldn't be bothered to paint it and as I couldn't bear to see it go to waste here it is:

Next is Elheim miniatures Gyrocopter, I couldn't get the pilot to fit as nice as a more competent modeller would but its good enough for me:

Not sure what I'm going to paint next, I'll just see what appeals, but I might make a start on my 15mm Prohibition civilians and vehicles.
