PocketQuest (I)

A friend and I have been working on a little project, a simple yet fun mini Dungeon Quest type game, in which you control a group of adventurers exploring(ie looting) a randomly determined dungeon. The game covers spells, fighting (obviously) exploring, magic items, traps etc and includes a campaign system so that you can stick with your little characters and watch them advance and become more powerful over time. Whilst written with 6mm mini's in mind, it will work fine with anything up to 20mm.

We have managed to rope in Richard at Perfect 6 mini's and Connor at The Miniature Architect to supply the figures and game boards respectively.

We still need to tweak the rules and to finalise a couple of little details such as having Leven miniatures cast up some dungeon furniture for inclusion in the box, but its almost ready to go into production, before we do though we are trying to gauge interest in this game, as that will effect the numbers on the initial run, so please take the time to look over the following pictures and let me know (by leaving a comment)if you would be interested in this sort of thing:

  5. Looks very interesting; I like the way the floor tiles fit inside the box and link together. Personally, I'd probably go with 10 or 15 mm figures to spare my elderly eyes. How long/complex are the rules? What dice are used? Some more information on them would be appreciated. Good luck with it!

  6. Thanks Arthur1815, the rules will be approx. 20 page A5 booklet, I have kept them deliberately simple so you can modify if you wish and so you can play with your kids(which was one of our initial intentions) the only dice required are 2 standard D6's (which will be provided) I will hopefully get a game report posted fairly soon

  7. This looks very cool. I might swap out the 6mm figs for 15mm, but I am interested in trying out 6mm for skirmishing. Definitely interested in a simple, self contained set of dungeon crawl rules.
